Community rules
Governed by Irish law

1. Acceptance and related policies

By accessing or using Gaming Hub, you agree to these Terms and to comply with applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data. Marketplace users must also follow the rules and safety information shown when listing or trading. A tournament may have additional published rules; those rules apply to that competition, but these Terms still apply to your use of Gaming Hub.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Gaming Hub.

By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have legal capacity to accept these Terms. You must not use the marketplace or enter any transaction if you cannot legally do so.

3. Accounts and security

  • Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in details confidential and do not share or transfer your account.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless the account was compromised through no fault of yours.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
  • Do not create accounts to evade a suspension, restriction, block, or enforcement action.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit, including profile information, posts, forum contributions, messages, team and organisation material, recruitment listings, tournament submissions, marketplace listings, photographs, and reviews.

You give Gaming Hub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the platform. This licence lasts while the content remains on the service and for a reasonable technical period afterwards, subject to legal and backup requirements.

You confirm that:

  • You have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content.
  • The content is accurate where it represents facts, listings, results, roles, or affiliations.
  • The content does not unlawfully infringe privacy, intellectual property, confidentiality, or other rights.
  • You understand that public content may be viewed without an account and indexed by search engines.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Gaming Hub to:

  • Post illegal, hateful, threatening, exploitative, sexually explicit, fraudulent, defamatory, or harassing material.
  • Impersonate another person, team, organisation, brand, tournament organiser, or rights holder.
  • Spam, manipulate engagement or reviews, operate unauthorised bots, scrape the service, or bypass access controls.
  • Upload malware, probe security, disrupt the platform, or misuse messages, reports, invitations, or notifications.
  • Publish another person's private information without a lawful reason and appropriate permission.
  • Use game data to cheat, harass, unlawfully profile people, facilitate betting or boosting, or gain an unfair competitive advantage.

6. Teams and organisations

  • Owners and authorised staff are responsible for the names, logos, media, descriptions, partner details, results, and other material they publish.
  • Only create or manage an identity, invite staff, associate a team, or publish on its behalf when you have authority to do so.
  • Owners are responsible for permissions they grant to staff and for transferring ownership before leaving where the feature requires it.
  • Do not falsely claim ownership, sponsorship, partnership, results, official status, or affiliation.

Organisation verification means Gaming Hub reviewed the information submitted under the process available at that time. It is not an endorsement, warranty, guarantee of identity, financial standing, conduct, results, products, partners, or future activity. We may request more evidence, refuse a request, or revoke verification where appropriate.

7. Recruitment

Recruitment listings help players, teams, coaches, staff, and organisations find each other. Gaming Hub is not an employer, agent, recruiter, or party to arrangements made between users.

  • Listings must be truthful, current, relevant to gaming, and posted by someone authorised to represent the named team or organisation.
  • Do not include unnecessary personal information or pressure users to move into unsafe communications.
  • You are responsible for checking identity, suitability, safeguarding needs, eligibility, and any agreement reached outside the platform.
  • Gaming Hub does not guarantee responses, placement, team quality, user conduct, or the accuracy of a listing.

8. Tournaments

  • Captains and managers must have authority to register the team and submit the roster.
  • Players and teams must meet published eligibility, roster, check-in, scheduling, game-account, and competition rules.
  • Do not share protected party codes or match-operation information with unauthorised people.
  • Match identifiers, results, disputes, and supporting information must be accurate and submitted in good faith.
  • Cheating, match fixing, unauthorised account use, result manipulation, and evasion of tournament controls are prohibited.

Tournament organisers may apply published rules and decide operational matters, including eligibility, scheduling, disputes, penalties, and results. Game-provider data can be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable; Gaming Hub does not guarantee that an automated or manual result check will always be accurate. Prizes and organiser commitments remain the responsibility of the stated organiser unless Gaming Hub expressly says otherwise.

9. Community marketplace

The marketplace is a classifieds and introduction service for permitted physical gaming items. Gaming Hub is not the buyer, seller, payment processor, lender, delivery provider, escrow agent, inspector, or guarantor in a transaction between users.

  • Listings and photographs must accurately describe the item, condition, price or exchange, location, and delivery options.
  • Game accounts, digital keys, in-game currency, boosting, cheats, exploits, stolen or counterfeit goods, unsafe products, illegal items, spam, and misleading listings are prohibited.
  • Users are responsible for checking the item and the other party, agreeing payment and delivery, complying with tax and consumer law, and keeping appropriate records.
  • Do not publish a full home address or send payment-card details, passwords, security codes, or unnecessary identity documents through Gaming Hub.
  • Use deal-completion controls only after the real-world exchange has occurred. Reviews are available only for deals confirmed through the platform and must be honest and relevant.

An offer, acceptance, or deal status records activity between users; it does not make Gaming Hub a party to the transaction. Users remain responsible for deciding whether their communications form a binding agreement and for resolving payment, delivery, condition, returns, refunds, or ownership disputes.

Follow the Marketplace Safety Guide. We may remove or reinstate listings and reviews, resolve reports, restrict marketplace access, or preserve moderation records to protect users and enforce these Terms.

10. Moderation and reporting

We may review, limit visibility of, remove, or restore content and may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts or feature access. We may act where we reasonably believe these Terms, feature rules, third-party requirements, or applicable law have been breached, or where action is needed to protect users or the service.

Reports must be made honestly. Reporting does not guarantee a particular outcome, and we may preserve relevant records for safety, appeals, disputes, and enforcement.

11. Third-party services and game data

Gaming Hub may connect with third-party services to provide sign-in, profiles, statistics, ranks, match history, tournament checks, and other game-related features. Your use of those services remains subject to their terms and policies.

Third-party services and data may change, be delayed, become unavailable, or be withdrawn. We may change, suspend, disconnect, hide, or remove an integration or related data to comply with provider requirements, law, safety needs, or technical limitations.

12. Riot Games disclaimer

Gaming Hub is not endorsed by Riot Games and does not reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

Riot Sign On and Riot APIs may support account verification, profiles, statistics, match history, rankings, and tournament workflows. Riot IDs, data, names, marks, and related materials remain controlled by their respective rights holders.

13. Intellectual property

Gaming Hub's own branding, software, design, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Gaming Hub. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you. Third-party games, brands, logos, and data remain the property of their respective owners.

14. Availability and disclaimers

We aim to keep Gaming Hub reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or permanent availability. Features, public visibility, integrations, and content may change or stop.

User content and third-party data are provided by others. Gaming Hub does not guarantee their accuracy, identity, legality, quality, safety, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing on Gaming Hub is legal, financial, employment, or professional advice.

15. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, Gaming Hub is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by user content or third-party services, or losses arising from recruitment arrangements, tournament participation, or marketplace transactions between users. You remain responsible for your interactions and agreements with other users.

16. Suspension, termination, and account closure

You may stop using Gaming Hub and request account closure. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where permitted by these Terms. Provisions that logically need to continue after closure remain effective, including content licences for retained content, intellectual-property protections, liability provisions, dispute terms, and records needed for safety or legal compliance.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Gaming Hub, our providers, or applicable law changes. We will update the date above and provide reasonable additional notice for material changes. If you do not agree to an updated version, you must stop using the platform.

18. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Irish courts have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@ourgaminghub.com.
